Shot Blasting

Surface preparation is vital to ensuring adherence of any paint finish, powder or wet spray. Our in house facility has a state of the art shot blasting chamber, with a full grit recovery system.

In this chamber we used high pressured air feeds to "blast" different types of medium (such as chilled iron grit) over all types of metal work, this process cleans the surface from all debris, oil, dirt or oxidisation, and creates a clean surface for the application of paint.

Products which are not prepared properly will have significant adherence issues, such as paint flaking off, chipping of paint from surfaces and oxidisation of the substrate.
